Does the weight of a lawn mower matter? Follow

Yes, to a certain degree. If you are buying a push lawn mower, you don't want a mower that is too heavy to push around your lawn.

However, remember that the weight alone does not necessarily mean the lawn mower is too much for you. You don't measure the weight by lifting it in the air by the handlebars.

Remember, operating a lawn mower will be a bit like a pram. You tip back slightly to steer it and if you can tip it back easily that is probably more than adequate as this is the method by which you will turn and manouevre it.

However, if you really think you will not be strong enough, a self-propelled mower is the right choice.

Please feel to look at our range of push and self-propelled mowers and please do contact us if you have any questions on this.
